Start a charitable foundation

i want to start a cancer society foundation it basically has to deal with person that have breast cancer and other chronical illness and for those that have been through breast cancer and are survivors but have fallen back into ill shape due to not continuing the right procedures in keeping up health wise. and to provide some assistance to senior citizens in my committee.

we are a group of 4 people who want to change the current state of street children, less privilege and disabilities in Ghana to give them a better future. we started later in the year 2008 and we have been able to achieve a some goals by sending some of this students to school, clothing them etc. we therefore ask for help from all individuals who are willing to take children out of the street to help us achieve our goal of transforming 1000’s of lives this year (2009). you can help achieve our goal in kind or in cash. remember what good books say’s in 2 Corinthians 9:7, that, Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:11 will be the reward of your generosity. I am doing this because a little girl I went to daycare with named Lakin Kenwood died from an acute type of cancer at the age of 13. The whole city was devestated. My son and daughter and I would like to start a foundation in their brother’s name to benefit the Miracle League and Kids Wish Network. Jeff did March 6, 2008 at age 22. He played ball with the Miracle League and Kids Wish granted him a wish. We want to help them help other special needs people (children and adults). In Montgomery, AL, where we live, the Miracle League was the best thing that has happend for the special needs section of our city. We want to help them help others by helping with uniforms and trophies and going to the Miracle League World series. Also, by helping Kids Wish help other children’s wishes come true. Jeff met Dewayne Johnson (the Rock) and got a letter and signed movie marquee from Arnold Swartzenger. We want to help other children smile.

I have started a charitable organization called Bilongo Fundation to dress up the less fortunate…it is sad to see that even in the 21st century majority of people in Kenya especially children orphaned by HIV AIDS cannot afford basic clothings and either walk naked or in tatters this exposes them to numerous diseases besides being a degradation to human dignity…I have started by collecting my own clothes that I feel I should donate, most of my friends are also very positive and have donated several clothes too. I have lived with diabetes in my family and my friends life up until now without anyone dying from the illness. Two weeks ago I lost my best friend Jake 34, who had juvenile diabetes from the age of 8. We became close friends at 10. I learned alot about life, love, and spiritual growth from my time on earth with him and this terrible disease.
I want to establish the Jason Palmer Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, to help generate funds to educate and promote awareness and prevention of diabetes.
What tools are there that your organization can refer me to for making some decisions that will be best suited for helping to create real advancements?
I have the network of revenue to fund an organization, I just need some tools. Any help will be appreciated.
