How to hug more
It made me
 "Hugsome."
How I did it: It was a given for me to hug people more and more at this point in my life. I've just graduated from school, and everyone was going their separate ways to various universities and such. At one point, you realise what you're losing and what you've lost - and hugging was a physical extension of that feeling. Of trying to keep something. But yes, how I did it - just do it already. At first, it might be embarrassing if you're not a person who regularly hugs people and people make a big deal about it. But it's a good feeling, so definitely worth it.

How I did it: I was thrown into an incredibly loving enviroment, and decided I'd like the rest of my life to be that way :) This is another thing that wasn't intially a goal, it just happened when I went to art school. People at SCPA aren't bothered by picking up their hand to wave at someone. It's not a greeting if it doesn't involve both your arms around the person! before she left i hugged her and i could make out that she hugged me genuinely and i did the same….
it felt awesome.. it feels good to know that i still have some good people in my life..

and I hugged people when they came in the door and when they left. I hug my dad before I go to bed. I hug my sister’s when I see them. I hug my best friend kat when I see her. I don’t hug my other friends so much, but when I think about hugging them I usually do.

SOme of the best hugs you can ever experience are the ones that come in the form of a home cooked meal.
Shrimp.
Tossed vegetables.
delicious mushroom ravioli…
fine grated cheeses…
a touch of fresh crushed and minced garlic…
plated neatly with a roue of cheese, shrimp sauce, light butter spray, cracked pepper…
and you have love on a plate.
the best hug of all…
someone i only vaguely know gave me a big pickup hug the other day, totally unexpected and in front of people. it caught me offguard but it was great! so i have resolved to put it out to the universe that i need more pickup hugs. i am small(ish) so it’s not too much to ask for i think…
