Run for my life!!  — 1 week ago

I’m not a jogger or a runner, and I was some what athletic when I was younger but definitely not now! But I have started jogging every day after work (weather permitting) I can’t jog fast or far, but I push myself a little farther every day and I am def noticing a difference with my endurance and mood. Yeah for me!

Never thought I would ...  — 3 weeks ago

Worth doing!

I was forced into this one. I’m going to be playing college volleyball next fall, and the coaches send the players workouts to complete over the summer.
The workouts are too hard for me to pretend I did. So, I’ve actually been doing stuff.
I’ve been running almost 2 miles everyday for the past week. It’s almost second nature already. I wake up, grab my ipod and gym shoes and go for a run. It’s pretty nice.
I’m real proud :)

I'm running 4-5 times a week and recently joined the gym  — 1 month ago

All that’s left to do is figure out a good diet plan (to gain weight) and my exercise routines.

on track...  — 2 months ago

I’ve been working out about 4-6 times a week for the past three months. I feel so much more fit and have more energy. I actually really enjoy it.I go jogging outside if its nice enough, otherwise I opt for the treadmill. I also do yoga, pilates and weight training a couple times of week. I find its easier to keep with it if you get into a routine. I know it’s difficult to get motivated and to find time to work out. I work out as soon as I get home from work. If I take time to relax after work, I get too lazy. Once you get a routine going its done… However, before I mark this as done, I would like to see how I do in the winter months. Because of the weather and such, I always found it difficult to stay motivated… so I’m striving to continue my routine through winter and then I’ll mark it as done.

I ran up and down the stairs twice. I know it’s not a lot but I plan to do 3 tomorrow, 4 the next, etc.
The library still hasn’t gotten that dumb book yet.

I miss my Six Pack  — 2 months ago

Seriously… I used to have a banging body, I feel like ever since the fiance started living with me, I’ve just been slacking off… I want to look beter for her…

Day 1  — 2 months ago

I did 3 muscle groups today. I’ve really got to strengthen my upper body, specifically arms. My arms would literally give out sometimes.
I feel like this would be a nice opportunity to use Kaizen, small steps.
I’d like to find a short intense exercise program. I’ve put a hold on the book “The 12 Minute Total Body Workout” by Joyce Vedral. Hopefully, the library will give it to me soon.
This goal is rather vague, for me it means: Exercise every day using weights. If I work out with weights everyday for 30 days I can consider this goal accomplished though. After a week I’ll probably have a new habit. I got the idea from Steve Pavlina. He talks about 30 day challenges in which you do some certain thing for 30 days.

So I’ve been going to the gym every other day since I started posting here. Making great progress. Me tummy is fading away and the chest, shoulders and arms are making a comeback. Yay. Taking supplements, but nothing too weird. Just whey protein, L-Glutamine and Nitrious Oxide. Very great addition to the mix. Any questions or whatever, ask me. I know quite a bit about this stuff. Keep truckin all!

Buff and Tuff!  — 3 months ago

I’m at school four days a week the next two months, and I have access to the gym. I’m planning to work out for about an hour each of those days. I’m planning to get fit and healthy!
