Well, I haven’t gone for a run in well over a month…first it was my new part-time summer job that I used as my excuse, now it’s everything and anything – ‘it looks like it might rain….’, ‘I have a bit of a pain in my ankle…’ and the most common – ‘Exercise is over-rated!’

I’ve been sporty all my life, and I ran a marathon in 2005. I really want to get back into running and hopefully run another soon. My boyfriend just broke up with me and i need to do something for myself to help me regain my confidence. I know i can do it!!!

which are geared to have you going from couch potato to 5K in 10 weeks. I’m finishing Week 2 and getting ready for Week 3. So far, it’s been fairly painless and fun for me to get back into jogging and being comfortable w/ more than walking. Used to run 30 miles a week. Got injured. This is my first serious running after 2 years! I’m looking forward to being able to run 30 minutes straight. I miss my runner’s high! :)
