argh! when we started this we thought it would take 2 months, then USCIS told us 6-7 months! Now I find out it’s a year!!! completely stupid, I don’t know how we’ll manage

My fiance visa has been approved and I can get married. YAY! So so so so happy – woohoo

Well, my fiance and I have submitted the application forms to immigration. Now we just have to wait 30-45 days for a decision. If they say yes, we can get married! Then once married, another set of forms need to be sent off for perminent resisdance. All to be with the man I love. Damn laws!!
