Yesterday I wanted to go to highschool with an outfit I love, but I thought people might think it was a bit overdressed. At first I thought I should forget about it, and then I realized this was a first step to my goal ^^ so I just put on my stuff and I went out like that ! I kinda realize at the end of the day that I was never to wear it again (I mean come on, who wears 5 necklaces at a time ? I ended up with a broken neck) but I was so glad I dared going out like that !!
People doing this are also doing these things:

“wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are.”-kurt cobain.
Be youself, no matter what people may think of you. The only opinion that matters is Number One’s; and that’s you. Why do their opinions not matter? Because those people will come and go throughout your whole life and the only person who will actually be there until the day you die is yourself.
Trust me, I used to worry what people thought of every little action I did. Then i realized that its inevitable that people will make judgements and its impossible to do anything about it. So why stress over things that are out of your hands?
sure, I still get nervous every once in a while like when I wore a big red sweater with white leggings, a fat white belt and red pumps to church two weeks ago. I was worried that my wild outfit would turn heads and it did. But you know what? While some of the people may have been thinking I was crazy, I KNOW there were people who admired my self confidence and ability pull off a look like that. Heck, there might have been people there who were envious of me and wished they had the type of attitude that would let them wear that outfit without being completely embarassed.
At the end of the day though, what matters is how you personally feel. I knew I looked hot that day and that made up for the negative things people may have been thinking.
Just remember, if you think highly of youself and exert self confidence it makes it a lot harder for people to think bad thoughts about you. They may even want to be you if your having fun being yourself. As some anceint chinese philosopher might have once said “its easier to pick on the lamb than it is to capture the tiger.”
Be the tiger.
