For a while you need to think about this goal. You need to think about what it means to you.
Then you begin to do those things that will make this goal real for you. You think about them, you try them out, and then they become routine.
Until one day you look back and wonder when it was that you weren’t living this way :).
Inadvertently, with no planning or overthinking at all, today has started out exactly as I would want a day to. I wrote a little, ate breakfast at home, walked to work, all with a clear, calm mind. I even put on some makeup!
It seems as I write this, that it doesn’t take much to make me feel satisfied. Along with these, exercising and eating some fruit and veggies would be great. These should all be daily habits, I can’t believe they’re not do-able.
There are many obstacles that life throws at us, but to have that feeling of contentment before you go to sleep would be wonderful. Knowing that you’ve done your best, been the best person you can be to others would be a wonderful feeling. I need to work on this because I’m not going to stay in this world forever.
When I was serving full time in the army I woke up at 6am and would go to sleep at 11pm. The days were so full of things to do that you were amazed at just how much you get done.
fear of rejection
fear of committment
fear of intimacy
fear of failure
fear of success
take a good look in the cabinet behind the mirror and get rid of any of these you find.
again, a recurring theme. i’ve done so much this week (including throwing a party last night!). but when i think about how it happened, i have to thank the darn schedule for it.
living life to the fullest sounds in complete opposition to sticking to a schedule, but they’ve worked together for me.
It means doing the things you want to do
Not worrying they won’t come out how you want them to.
“If we want to live life fully, we do best to slow down. I don’t suggest that we turn back the clock, trying to retireve a bygone era when life was slower. We couldn’t even if we wanted to. But I don’t believe we should want to…..to make modern life become better than life has ever been, a person must learn how to what matters most first. Otherwise, you will bulldoze over life’s best moments. You won’t see the little charms that adorn each day, nor will you ever transform the mundane into the extraordinary.”

You guys, i.e. the other 6 people who are doing this: I’m still not sure what exactly I mean by it. Maybe that should be a goal, too!
