I was working for a rental car agency and we got a call to yank ALL the seats except for the driver from a minivan and deliver it the arrivals entrance ASAP. As I pulled up I saw a dark haired guy sitting on a suitcase st the curb. When I stopped I realized that his eyes were level with mine, but I’m still in the van. It dawns on me that I am now face to face with none other than Andre the giant!! I get out and decide that I’ll be bold about this.
“Good day, I think I might be delivering your ride sir.” I held out the keys.
“I don’t drive, the pedals are too small for me – he’s driving” as he pointed I looked on none other than Big John Stud. “Thanks for the van” Andre added and extended a hand. Remember when you were 5 and an adult shook your hand – yeah it’s like that.
I also got to meet the Big Boss Man, the Bushwackers and George the Animal Steel that day. Very cool, even if I wasn’t a wrestling fan.

Seriously. The Hurricane is bigger than your biggest friend. It really puts things in perspective…

Forgot to mention. I also met Test at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa. Not at signing or anything, he was out having a good time. We were out having a good time. And we just all happened to be out having a good time at the same place.

Or at least, I used to be. Started watching wrestling before it turned to complete crap in 2000 when my husband and I were dating. Went to my first wrestling event in 2001. Met quite a few stars after the show including Matt and Jeff Hardy (Matt touched my hand and I fan girled for the rest of the night; in fact, I’m still fan girling; ZOMG, I LOVE MATT! Yeah… don’t mind me), Lita, the Dudleys, and others. Recently, I’ve met Davari (probably spelled that wrong), Shane Helms, Rey Rey, and Mr. Kennedy. I’ve met some others, too. Even though I don’t watch wrestling as much, I still like going to events from time to time. That’s always fun. Wrestling fans are pretty much MA—mostly awesome.
