hike the Fish River Canyon

Last week I heard someone passionately discoursing about this natural wonder. I don’t know where to start to get there.

I don’t know how soon I’ll do the Fish River Canyon, but I’m getting a longing for boots and dust and the long winding trail. Methinks its time for planning some hiking trips.

The Fish River Canyon is one of the legendary hiking routes in Southern Africa. Located in Namibia, hiking is limited to the winter, because of the danger of flash floods after thunderstorms and very high temperatures.
