1. Found a dentist in my PPO.
2. Made an appointment.
Now, I just have to KEEP the appointment and have a good feeling about her to cross this off my list.
Practically had to sedate myself to do this much lol

... and so ended up with a different Health Care Provider. My old dentist isn’t covered so I have to find a new one.
I’ve never really had to choose a dentist before; I always found that there was a dentist in close proximity to where I work or live and went there automatically. Now, the 3 closest dentists under my new HCP are all equally inconvenient in terms of location.
I’m really not sure what to look for, or what criteria I would use to choose one over the other. I guess I could pay a visit to all 3 offices just to get a feel for the place, check out the atmosphere, maybe catch a glimpse of the dentist in action.
[sigh] I’m due for a cleaning, but I really don’t feel like doing this.
Oh well. Not every goal can be fun, right?
I have found him and I have an appointment next week. Unless something goes wrong, I’m marking this as done! :)
Despite the long gap between dentist appointments, my teeth are in good shape (no cavities), but i got yelled at about not flossing.
I haven’t had dental insurance in years, and so other than having a wisdom tooth removed, I haven’t seen a dentist in several years. Now that I have it, I’ve been somewhat reluctant to go back for fear of what they might find, but I just got off the phone and scheduled a check-up for next Monday. Hope it goes well.
