I got my Panasonic 51” HDTV this weekend. It is 4 years old and I paid $500 for it. I think it was an okay deal. I am glad to have it. 5 years ago

I just got through watching “Star Wars” on DVD on a 19” TV.It was like watching a 12” movie, it sucked!
I guess I can not make them make movies on DVD in full screen, so I will have to break down and buy a widescreen {HD, of course!}.
And why do they make all the movies in widescreen anyway! Who is the stupid ass person that decided that everyone wants to see black lines at the top and bottom of the screen!!! 6 years ago

There’s nothing like SEEING everything without straining your eyes . . .

but, seriously . . .

first, we added the 60” big screen with surround - movies became real movies - and, a few months ago, we added the 52” high-def—amazing!

Don’t just do it for the sake of doing it - DO THE RESEARCH - save your money - buy ONLY the best quality and technology available in your price range - and, you’ll never regret the investments! 6 years ago

It’s worth doing, if you’re really into it. HD is beautiful and it’s the wave of the future. The big screen is a plus, but can sometimes be too big…. so make sure it’s appropriate to the space… 6 years ago

I really like the Samsung HLP-5085 but the built-in pedalstal is not the greatest looking thing. Anyone know any comparable sets—Mitsubishi?? 6 years ago
