How to buy a big screen TV
How I did it: I didn't go out drinking for a month...
Yeah I was spending that much a month on booze... I just thought to myself about all the money I would have to do exciting things and have money to fall back on. Now I'm going to continue this new money saving method by not drinking at bars, clubs etc. This way I'll have nicer things.
Lessons & tips: Save your money, you can get nicer things.

I went back to school full time. So now I don’t have time to watch the new TV… Bummer.
Its 1080p LCD and 46”
Its a great TV for watching dvds or playing on xbox 360 :)
But we have bought two…and what better way to watch the Wildcats?
I got my Panasonic 51” HDTV this weekend. It is 4 years old and I paid $500 for it. I think it was an okay deal. I am glad to have it.
$500, in a couple of weeks, it will be all mine. Boo-yah!
I just got through watching “Star Wars” on DVD on a 19” TV.It was like watching a 12” movie, it sucked!
I guess I can not make them make movies on DVD in full screen, so I will have to break down and buy a widescreen {HD, of course!}.
And why do they make all the movies in widescreen anyway! Who is the stupid ass person that decided that everyone wants to see black lines at the top and bottom of the screen!!!
Pixie is ...
There’s nothing like SEEING everything without straining your eyes . . .
but, seriously . . .
first, we added the 60” big screen with surround - movies became real movies - and, a few months ago, we added the 52” high-def—amazing!
Don’t just do it for the sake of doing it - DO THE RESEARCH - save your money - buy ONLY the best quality and technology available in your price range - and, you’ll never regret the investments!
Cathy H. is hardly working!
It’s worth doing, if you’re really into it. HD is beautiful and it’s the wave of the future. The big screen is a plus, but can sometimes be too big…. so make sure it’s appropriate to the space…
