throw out all my holey socks and underwear

i want to do this but cant because i dont even own 1 pair of panties it feels better to go without them

Got some beautiful new underwear – and 2 bras as well! Threw out all the holey underwear—very satisfying! The salesperson at Nordstrom Lingerie was super-helpful. She fitted me – and found some very cute things in my size! She also used the merch-search to find one bra I liked they didn’t have in-store. Not too many socks I liked – threw out the yucky ones anyhow. This will be a yearly goal I think: approx once a year replace lingerie that’s ready to retire!

Why did I wait so long?

Well yay. I bought new underwear during lunch today, enough so I can throw away every single pair that’s left in my drawer and still have enough till laundry day. Nothing like those pearly whites, and other colors, to brighten one’s day.

I couldn’t find the socks, though. Luckily summer is coming. Maybe there will be less demand.

but I gotta replace them first, otherwise I might be worse off.

jeez, it hasnt been that long but i think i need to do this again. where do these holes come from???

There’s now nothing but underwear and socks that I wouldn’t be embarrassed to be seen if I end up in an ER. ;-) (Remember when your mom used to tell you that? I always thought that if you end up in an ER, you’d have more important things to worry about than what the staff thinks of your undies, but…)

Some of my socks and (more so) undies came back from Iraq (and the rough laundry) in less-than-presentable condition. I need to sort through them and throw them (and the match-less socks) away.
