    The grand canal in venice has only 3 bridges across it. During the day there are points on the grand canal where there are gondolas going across the canal inspace of bridges. You can ride on one of these gondolas for 50 cents! Much better than 150Euro IMO…

    its a lot of fun except the water in venice smells pretty foul and there are so many gondolas everywhere..not quite as romantic as one imagines but its still a lot of fun and a great experience!
