How I did it: I worked as an au pair with a great Turkish family. I went to Greece and learned Turkish and ate AMAZING food. I'm dating the eldest brother so now I come back all the time. TURKIYE!

I was born in Istanbul but left the country when I was 8 years old. After 17 years abroad and only short trips to the city, I need at least a stay of 2 months to absorbe again turkish culture, language and Istanbul’s special flair as a melting point between east and west. The country is going ahead – even if it is in slow steps – and maybe there will be new opportunuties for me too.
