Marry my Partner

So… we ended up taking a chance and not going to Den Haag. Instead, we collected all our paperwork and went to our local Gemeente (city hall). After waiting 30 minutes to see someone, and then discussing our situation at length, we were told that they will review our paperwork and send us a letter. In the meantime, we filled out and submitted all the necessary paperwork. Hopefully the letter will say that everything is in order and we can finally set a date!

We are going to Den Haag on Friday to get my marriage status certified. Then maybe we will have all the paperwork ready for the town hall!
