How to read pride & prejudice by Lauren

"Pride and Prejudice is a delightful read"

How I did it: I picked the book up off my shelf where it had been languishing for some time, and sat down to read like mad whenever I had spare time.
It was a lot less difficult of a read than I had been expecting, what with the slightly archaic language, and I was pleased to find that I could read and understand it quite easily.
There are some very comical scenes in the book, and I often read little pieces which particularly amused me aloud to my mother if she was nearby.

Lessons & tips: Having seen both the BBC and Hollywood versions of the movie, I was
easily able to understand what was going on the novel. I'm not certain
I would have understand everything had I not seen the movies, but I
could be wrong! So, I'd say watching the movies sometime before or after reading the book would be helpful.

    This was such a good book! You have to read it! 3 years ago

    I finished it last night! It was so friggin good! I’m gonna buy my own copy from Barnes & Noble. It was so great! I so loved it!

    Oh, also, the movie, staring Kiera Knightly, came out a few days ago. I have to buy that to, thats the reason i was inspired to read this great novel!

    Okay, i'm gettin there 3 years ago

    I’m over half way done!i’m @ the part where Mr. Darcy sends Elizabeth the letter explaining his actiopns concerning the events with Mr. Wickham and her sister Jane’s imminent engagement. I hope the latter part of the book is as good as the beginning!

    by Jane Austen. yeah, i’m almost done with this goal. I got it from la biblioteca a few weekends ago. I’m working right throught it. Its a very interesting read, i’ve never read such a….classical or intelectual book before. I’m only 13. I mostly read magazines and Gossip Girl books. So it’s going slowly, but i’m getting through it.
