Doesn’t everyone love gifts with tissue paper inside the box? I know I do…

I guess that I am a pro since I work as a professional giftwrapper! =)
One of the greatest inventions made for wrapping is double sided tape. If this is hard to come by, the Scotch gift wrap tape works okay.
I heard that some people pick a “style’ for gifts, and then wrap all gifts that way.
For example, they use brown or white butcher paper, but then dress up the package with fancy ribbon.
The idea is that you always have paper to wrap gifts, so that you don’t end up with the “wrapping in the car on the way to the party” scenerio.
I tried it for a couple of presents – the results were kind of disturbing. (Butcher shop gone mad…. rather than “stylish, minimal.”)
A small set back, but I will persevere.I just finished wrapping most of my Christmas presents and I tried my best to make my wrapping look decent. In the end, I think that my wrapping still looks the same as before…that’s probably as professional as my wrapping will get, so I’m just going to mark this as done.
I’ve never gotten any complaints on my wrapping before…I just thought it would be cool to teach myself how to wrap gifts like a pro. I felt more confident wrapping gifts today though and I even made Christmas tree tags to put on the gifts. While I wrap Christmas gifts during this time of the year, I get more into the holiday mood. What makes me even happier is just seeing the people unwrap the gifts I gave to them.
I rarely give presents to people that are in bags. I usually wrap them up because I think it’s more exciting to unwrap something, rather than just taking it out of a bag. I’m not that great of a gift wrapping person though. I always end up with too much wrapping paper and the folds never look right. I’ll see how my wrapping goes this Christmas.
