Buy a 4 wheeler

I’ve been wanting a 4 wheeler for a while. So I’ve decided that once I get my income tax back, I’m gonna do just that. Maybe a Raptor 660R or a Banshee. 4 years ago

Well, it wasn’t the color I wanted but I can live with that. With the new 2008 models already on the market this 2007 model is already considered a year old left over which knocked a couple bills off of it and it was under it’s original sales rebate with a free snow plow and a winch to run it. I saved almost $1700.00 getting this one. Getting green saved me green. How symbolic. Already been out testing the plow and pushing snow around. There is snow in the forecast so it’s off to do the tedious job of plowing the driveway. I may stop when I clear the entire block!

I blame my friend Hal, he said if the Red Sox won the World Series I could or should get it, it would be destiny or something like that, I really only paid attention to what ever said yes or do it…........... 4 years ago

Over the years I’ve owned 4-wheelers, I have one that I don’t even ride anymore because I’m too heavy for it anymore, my old 2 wheel drive Yamaha Blaster. It was a hoot to ride and was really too small and under powered for what we were doing when we all went out and bought one but they were so light you could just throw them around under you while riding them. I’ve held onto that one because it’s all paid for and maybe it would make a good machine for my wife to ride. It’s still zippy and fun, just not practical for me.

Now I’m looking at a Polaris Sportsman 700 4 wheel drive rig. The driving factor for this is that in buying our first home, not only did I have to buy my first lawn mower, I need a snow removal device. I could just go out and buy a snow blower, that would be the practical thing but hey, I’m not always a practical guy! This would get me an ATV with a plow for the winter and when spring time comes drop the blade and go out playing. Polaris already has approved the credit for me to do this. I just hate getting another payment. These toys ain’t cheap anymore! More than likely I will cave and do it. This will add to the problems I have with another goal I have on here on 43T, cleaning out my garage. This will be one more thing living in the garage along with the 2 snowmachines and my wife’s Yukon! 4 years ago
