Not only is this a good things to do health wise, but if you are trying to lose weight, cutting soda out of your diet helps A LOT. I lost 2 pounds simply cutting out soda and replacing it with water.

I have had no more than one for the past several days and haven’t really ‘craved’ that one…so I’m just going to give away the ones I have left in my fridge and forget about it.
I’m doing better than I thought with no ill effects so far…so instead of the 2/day week then the 1/day 2 weeks I’m going to the 1/day 2 weeks thing straight off…since that’s what I’ve done since setting this goal anyway. That would mean my last Diet Coke will be on 11/12…then I’ll mark this goal complete…unless I decide to completely stop before then…but I do have at least that many cokes in my fridge now and I’m not one to be wasteful.
day 2 and I only had one diet coke today…I didn’t plan to do that until the 2nd week not the second day…I’m proud of myself.
Ok, I have given them up for periods before so I know I can do it, but I’ve also learned that just stopping cold turkey leads to way too much withdrawal. I currently drink on average 3-4 diet cokes a day. My plan is this…2/day for the next week then 1/day for the next 2 weeks and then stop.
