I haven’t looked at this item in a while and it’s not really a priority anymore. I’ve been to the second hand store a couple of times in the recent past and I think I’m going to treat myself to a new shirt or two at Reitmans on my magical 5th paycheck.
It’s time to realign my focus on other stuff. A pruning of the list if you will. 2 years ago
Dug out the bags of clothes that need to be repaired. Need to go through them and make sure that I still fit into the clothes that I have there / want to keep them. Some of these clothes have been floating around in the “to fix” pile for way too long, years and years. I need to go through them.
I got an idea of applying for the NDG Barter group and seeing if I could get my clothes repaired that way. They’re really not extravagent repairs: a button here and there, a small hole, a rip. It’s just that my hatred of sewing is really that extreme. To be fair, I finally found my sewing kit, I just might brave some of the repairs myself. Still to be done! 3 years ago
bought a pair of jeans last night trying to go for one item per week considering i get paid every week, lets hope 3 years ago
Bought some underwear the other day. Not very exciting but necessary. Went for the 5 for 15$. The thing is, I never know how many pairs will survive the first wash, be comfortable enough to keep in circulation. It always seems that one or two don’t make the final cut. I ended up getting two different kinds so I hope that they all make the cut this time. 3 years ago

Came up with the idea of stopping into my favorite store this morning after work. Yay Reitmans.
Was trying on stuff when I got to use my new toy, the celly to call my coworker to get her opinion on the pants I was wearing. I was so amazed that I found a pair of pants that fits me waist wise and height wise. I’ve been trying to squeeze into my 15s, so I finally went and pulled off a pair of 14+ but the Petites ones and I do believe it is the pair of pants I’ve owned that I don’t have to do ANYTHING to be able to fit into. The things we learn…
Ended up picking up two of what they call these power pants in dark grey.
Also picked up this cute little black sweater vest with blue diamonds on it, which I had originally wanted when it came out but didn’t get then.
Total spent: 80$ 3 years ago
Went shopping at this tiny little second hand place that advertised a 50% off sale with a friend. Managed to pick up
-two pairs of pants
-a bunch of shirts, I was proud that they weren’t the genre that I usually wear, so I’m branching out a little bit, now I just have to make sure that I actually wear them
-an adorable pair of pantouffes, that’s slippers in French, when I was younger I got into the habit of calling them that and never got rid of it.
-a three bottle wine rack (which doesn’t really help me in moving towards this goal, I think it’s cheating to be able to fill a three bottle rack.
-one of my favorite books to give away (Atlas Shrugged, Objectivism FTW!) 3 years ago
I actually have two pairs of pants that I bought, that I can’t wear because I need to get them hemmed.
To do!

needing splurging…
To acquire more clothes to replace the ones that didn’t fit or that I never liked in the first place.
I know that Dave Ramsey says that clothing is a basic necessity, but I find it hard to force myself to add a line in the budget for clothing, just feels so frivolous.
I did however mail order three pairs of Spanxs. We’ll see how well they fit and feel. 3 years ago
