Enter a chili cook-off

I won 2nd place for entering my vegan chili. How crazy is that?!

My Chili rocks! not enouph people know that

Well, I got home early yesterday and cooked up a storm. Tired to make my batch mild. A lot of people said they loved it and apparently, it was the ottest one. I ate a lot of chili! There was no official vote and no prize. So I guess it was just a chili dinner. But it was fun. We met some really cool people and wound up haning out at the bar until almost 1 am. How cool is that? Hope we get to see them again. So the chili paid off. BTW, my secret ingredient is lots of cilantro ;)

The Chatham Democrats are holding a chili cook-off on Friday. It is a fundraiser for the democratic cause. It’s going to be at the local pub. I am going to enter with my not-so-famous-but-damn-good veggie chili. I’ll let you know how it goes.
