How I did it: I received the portfolio requirements back in September, I think at the University Fair. To polish my skills, I took some art lessons with my friends where I introduced myself to paint. It wasn't a lesson, but an opportunity to draw/paint in peace and with some guidance. It didn't take long to come up with some ideas but they kept changing and changing. Then I bought the art supplies I thought I would need. At first, I wasn't too motivate… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I knew I had to do a really good job on my portfolio because I'm borderline between an A and a B for English and I need that 4.0 G.P.A.! So I just buckled down and worked really hard and managed to finish before 11 p.m :) Read how I did it…

The due date is coming up!
I’ve finished my resume and 2 artworks.
I’m aiming to finish 2 more by the end of tomorrow.
Then by Tuesday, finish my written piece, and 2 other pieces that I’ve already started on.
I’m going to hand it in on Friday. Eep!
If I don’t finish it by Tuesday, I might have to cancel the b-day party my friends are throwing for me on Wednesday! D:
need to go through both my 1st and 2nd year design stuff and draw everything on autocad then then colour and sort layout in photoshop and make sure everything is on A2 paper. Then gather all the assignments for the other classes. The essays can just be printed off again no bother but the other assignemnts need to go through the same process as the design stuff.
And finally get a hard copy and put everyhting on disc too.
Shit thts alot!

The university I’m going to join (inshallah) is asking for a file includes my work from the past two years and some essays about the work I’ve done!
I finished most of the parts, but still it needs some organizing. I wish that I could finish it before the end of this February.

Now that it’s the holidays, I’ve got some time. So I went to the art store and bought a set of acrylic paint, paintbrushes, and paper. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get something done today.
My goal: Get 5 pieces done during the next 2 weeks.

It’s sort of funny how my goal is to finish it while I haven’t even started it. The biggest problem is just sitting down and getting serious. C’mon inspiration… I only have until mid-march. I’m planning to drive over there and give my portfolio in person during Spring Break because I’m too paranoid to send it through mail. That’s if I manage to finish it. >_<

I technically finished it and then it was a while before I made all the PDFs and went ahead and got it printed and everything. Well, I did add a page at the end as I was making the PDF files so I suppose it wasn’t finished. Well, it’s done now. I’m satisfied, now off for some interviews I suppose.
