go to the carnival in venice

i arrived a few days before carnival, which was a perfect way to do it because it allowed me to explore venice pre carnival crowd! then carnival started and it was very cool to see all those unbelievable costumes, experience the excitement. carnival is very much more of a family event than i imagined, with lots of period costumes in addition to the amazing masked costumes, and lots of vivaldi being played. i’m very glad i went and experienced this!

Venice was very crowded but I don´t regret one bit that I saw all those amazing costumes, took good photos and got to know what that carnival of Venice (that I had heard so much of) is all about! I´m happy I´ve been there!
