attend a taping of The Price Is Right

Unless you have a big group reservation, in which case you can waltz in at 10 am, you have to check in at 6 or 8 am. My group didn’t have a group reservation and we got there at 3 am. We were second in line and they didn’t tape until 2 pm. Traffic was horrible getting home and we didn’t get home until about 5 or 7 pm. Hence, it was a lonnnnnnng day. It’s cool that everyone gets to try out and it was neat to be there and see myself in the audience when it aired. But it was a lonnnnng day.

I’d like to try to get on again while Bob Barker is still there. I wish I would’ve got picked. I think when they got to me I didn’t know what to say and looked awful because I was already exhausted from being all hyped because we thought they were watching us while in line. I don’t think they were, so all that wasted energy was for nothing =). I kinda blew it.

But I’d like to know secrets of how people get picked, like what to say when they get to you that’ll impress them to pick you. It seems like there is no rhyme or reason to the people that get called up… 4 years ago
