Last week I made root vegetable soup from carrots, yellow onions, potatoes, turnips, rutabagas, and a touch of nutmeg. I am eating plenty of fresh apples. Today I bought some raspberry leaf tea and Wensleydale cheese with dried cranberries.
Turnips, nutmeg, apples, and cranberries. I am off to a good start! I’d love to return to one of the roadside stands between Athens and Madison for some more fresh produce, jelly, and cider!
