4/5 weeks this month. Not bad.
How to practice yoga once a week
How I did it: I started reading Happy Yoga, and followed a lot of tips in there. I used to think that you had to do certain poses after each other and actually stopped doing yoga because it was so serious. But now I do yoga at home while listening to music. I always end up smiling within 5 minutes. The only "routine" I have is starting with 5 "sun greetings" A and B. Then I move to poses that suits my mood that day. Some days I just do one pose for a really long time. And on other days I end with a dance party instead. My mood and physique has improved a lot since I have brought yoga into my life!

I have been doing this on Saturday for 2 weeks so far. I look forward to it so much! It makes me feel so peaceful and centered. I want to keep it up for awhile. Don’t really know how long.

during my lunch break. I think one of my big problems previously was making too big of a deal out of yoga. Now I just spend 15 minutes stretching and throwing in some traditional yoga poses in a park near my job before walking 25/35 minutes and then returning to the office. I’ve been feeling so much better when I return to work…
... now if I could just keep it up!

I’m thinking I’m going to make Sunday my designated yoga day. Hopefully that will help me stick to practicing once a week.

I took a yoga class yesterday after work and really felt great afterwards! I’m working to keep my goals realistic by only working to go once a week. That way, if I find that I really enjoy it, I can up it to twice weekly!
Wednesday night seems to be a good yoga night for me. It has been for the past three Wednesdays. I have started out with just some sun greetings. 5 of sun greeting A, and each week I add a sun greeting B. I am up to two Bs.
I like pacing myself, and I like just doing it at home. It’s free and quiet. I do wonder if I will remember how to get into the pose that comes after 5 sun greeting Bs…
Perhaps I should buy this
For the first time in two months. My original instructor left, which made me surprisingly sad! – but this one is okay, if less rigorous.
Didn’t happen this week. I was so drained from the ELI training that just moving and small amounts of thinking were a stretch.
This hasn’t happened lately. Jerry brought the boys over on Saturday morning, so I didn’t have time that day and on Sunday, what I thought was allergies turned out to be a dilly of a cold. Dizziness has been one of the fun symptoms. Probably not conducive to yoga.
