i walk my dog 3 sometimes 4 days a week, but he is super high energy. the days when he isnt walked he gets crazy anxious, i think maybe he has paranoia or something. OCD? i got depression. so the days when i aint walking i wanna kill myself. we’re meant for each other, thats why we are happily married. but often he says i dont act like i love him because i spend all the time with the baby and cries tied out on the lawn. i do need to lose some excess baby weight. thats it, i am walking my dog more!

My dog totally deserves it. She is full of energy and I’m not. Maybe some of her energy can rub off on me.

He’s an adventurer. I’ve been walking him since I got home last week. Now, instead of breaking out of the house against my wishes (and his safety), he prefers taking me along with him. Getting out doesn’t hurt much on my part, either.

I think that’s a sign. And she doesn’t usually. I need to be giving her more consistent attention. It feels so difficult taking out an hour a day to walk her, but she really deserves it. And so do I, come to think of it.
What’s hard is understanding this as a priority in the middle of a new relationship. It’s way too easy to deprioritize her in order to spend more time with my new friend, but she’s really one of the most important relationships in my life right now.
I should honor that on a daily (or at least as daily as possible) basis.

He’s got the cutest face ever, so I can’t help but feel completely awful when he looks at me with those puppy eyes and I say “Not today, Teddy, maybe tomorrow I’ll walk you but I just have too much to do today.”
He’s so bored around the house.
It’d be good for me too, so why don’t I do it?
I don’t know.

It is cold and dark in the morning and often also raining. I bought a new coat, one that doesn’t make me look like I slept in a hedge. It has worked a treat as a motivation to get up and out the door. And getting enough sleep is also helpful, and less alcohol is I am sure also helping me get up in the morning. I still need to buy some new shoes before the ones I have fall apart.

My dog is big and has a ton of energy, and REALLY needs to be walked every day that the weather isn’t absolutely horrid. When we got him, I was just sure that we’d be going for frequent walks, needless to say, that hasn’t been happening!

Yep, also related to getting enough sleep which is at least in part to less alcohol.

I think this goes along nicely with getting more exercise in my life. I have been starting to walk my two dogs and not only do they love it, but I love it. This is the only exercising I have ever done and liked without music. I am getting to spend time with my pups and I am taking better care of my physical self. Now, I want to make it a habit- a daily occurrence. Wish me luck!
