Walk my dog every day

I’ve been doing this every day since I got my dog, Alexei, a Boston Terrier, barring any rainy days of course. He really enjoys being outside; it’s a struggle to get him back in most days. Hopefully once we get into our new place he’ll have a little more room to roam around and leaving the sunshine won’t be quite as difficult.

Although I’m not managing this every day of the week becasue I’m so busy, all the days he is not in doggie day care he gets at least one 45min with me a day and sometimes 2 and his behaviour in general is so much better!

Just need to control him around cats and squirels and then I’ve fully dog whispered my little mutt!

Morning walk in the sunshine ( gotta love the heat wave!) with Jake today. He’s a tired happy boy and I feel awake and less stiff! great way to start the day!

Another early morning sunshine walk with my mutt! It helps with the sun shining I think!!!!

I think we both get something out of this! I come back a little hot and sweaty from powerwalking for 40 min with the boy, listened to my music which always makes me smile, and the little man had some good exercise and binding time with me!

Am planning on another 30 min walk tonight!

I haven’t managed to walk my little man everyday, as I”ve been soooooooo busy, although he gets exercise and play at his doggy day care!However I had such a great walk with him this morning, and another planned for later tonight, I forgot just how much I enjoy walking him being the 1st thing I do each day!

Walked Jake today with a couple of other dogs and a new “friend” who I met out walking in the park a few months ago. The weather is amazing, the sun shining, walking through fields the dogs playing in the river, chatting away with Rachel… Spent far longer than I should have done out this morning – have alot of work to do, but it made me realise one of the benifits for having Jake ( I inherited him and resent the restrictions it puts on my life from time to time). is getting out each day, in the amazing country side, slowing me down to just appreciate there is more to life than just working my butt off, being down about a broken heart and worrying about too many things.

Beautiful day and lovely 3 hours walk…

The only thing holding me back from doing this is me. Have to make the time and not blow it off because I don’t feel like it. No excuses!

I walked my dog this morning and it was great!

Okay, I’m going to try tomorrow morning.

There’s a flash flood warning but I need to learn to suck it up.

And I would rather take on rain than snow any day!
