I did it again! I made it to the gym. Last night I took a 60min “Hard Core” Class. (Working with the Ball and weights). It’s great for toning your body and making you lean. Love it!!
Then I went and did a 45min, Accelerated Pilates DVD. I’m feeling it today too. But, I’m trying to stick to a schedule that I created for myself.

It’s been a while since I actually posted an entry on my 43things Blog.
Well, the past few weeks have been good to me! I’ve been making it to the gym, EVEN on the cold days. I’ve even started a daily journal as to what I’ve been doing and of course adding it here for MORE motivation of self.
This past week and last, I went strong at the gym. During the week I did a lot of cardio, rotating with the Elliptical, Treadmills and Bikes… I’m trying to shed an tone simultaneously. I feel it in my legs too!
Yesterday, Sunday 01/22/06 was the best day for me it’s good to work out with a friend we rotated sets, so that’s motivation as well… I did strength training with weights I worked my arms, Bi’s and Tri’s… Chest and Back, by using free weights. I finished it off with 30 minutes on the Elliptical Trainer. All is Good! Hopefullly I’ll keep up with my 43things as a reminder.. it’s needed especially when you start seeing results. It’s matters that I’m able to go back and look at what I did.

I wrote about joining a gym about a week or so ago. Well, I DID it!! I am so happy about it… the past few days I’ve been kicking ass going day and night… during the day I do all cardio work, in the evening I’ve been taking Pilate classes for immediate toning and conditioning, I do a class called “CrunchTime” it focuses on your abs… boy, oh boy… were they burning last night and even now as I write this. But, I love working my stomach muscles.. I have what you call a Metamorph (sp?) body… meaning I can tone up fairly quickly if done correctly.( I didn’t make that up… ) This evening I’ll be taking a spin class which is now called “The Ride”... isn’t that a funky name? I like it…. and I’m taking another Pilates class this evening to stretch it all out. I write this down for rememberance and self motivation.

I told myself that I would do it… I enrolled today at lunch time, they were onsite at my job. I’m ready to get started. Tomorrow I will go there to get my badge for my key ring, and get a tour of the new facility.
I am pumped for this! They offer a lot of new classes compared to the other gym that I was attending.. they even offer “Hip Hop” classes… how FUN is that! My favorite is anything concerning my abs… so they have this class called “Hardcore”.. it focuses on your midsection. Your CORE is one of the key parts to the body that should be worked consistently, it supports the rest of your frame.
I can’t wait to get back into it.. I’m not new at this… I just took a back seat to my health. Now I’m back in the drivers seat.
I’ll update my results… weekly.. to keep myself focused.

Today, will be the day that start anew… with a few things, exercising being one of them. I find myself, not being in the best shape of my life right now. From the outside looking in, it looks great. But, I feel sluggish. Not eating properly and not exercising does this to me.. So, I figured if I write it down.. then I’m making it mental for me.
Today, I will take back my control… and make this goal happen for me.
