return to italy

we had a conversation recently on how we each envision the trip when it happens.

this time, my love will go with me

I traveled to Italy several years ago to sing in the Vatican with my choir. It was an amazing trip as we saw Florence, Asissi, and Roma. I want to return to the Big Mama night club, where the entrance was in an alley, and the club to dimly lit and smoky as all heck. It was beautiful.

I spent a month there in summer of 2007 with my aunt and uncle and their kids and stayed with my uncle’s parents who live there. I’d like to go back sometime and bring my parents and my boyfriend.

And who wouldn’t want to – home of all things Florence. TSK wants the cinqueterra: I’m game. Bambino, I’m sure, will frolic in the gelati. As will we all.
