No more complaining that there’s nothing to fix. No more whining because ‘I just don’t know what to have.’ No more, “I don’t know, what do you want for dinner?” No more wasting money on going out to eat (or gaining weight/clogging the ‘ol arteries from greasy fast food!)
Savingdinner.com is the best thing that has happened to us lately (as far as food goes, lol) You do have to pay for the subscription, but it comes out to about $.08/day which is only about $30/year. Hubby and I think it is well worth it to avoid all the usual hassle!

Last night, I made chicken parmesan, mashed potatoes, and kale. I’d never eaten kale before, so that was something new for me! Hubby was so proud of me…when he got home and saw the dinner he said he should be taking a picture of it instead of eating it because it looked that good! And he told me that I was getting to be so domesticated because I decorated the house for Christmas and made such a beautiful dinner all in the same day! lol!

that the next time hubby and I go grocery shopping we will begin with the sample menu mailer that is available free on the website. Now that Thanksgiving is over, I’ll prolly have to remind him about signing up…lol.

Hubby and I are going to start using the menu-mailer from savingdinner.com after Thanksgiving. I’m going to wait and see how it goes before I mark this goal as complete, though. I’ve heard amazing things about it, and the sample recipes did look pretty tasty (so I hope it works, because if it doesn’t it may just be hopeless…! lol!)

Tonight, hubby and I are going to sit down and make a list of our favorite meals. (10 each; he’ll make his list and I’ll make mine, then we’ll compare.) Holiday meals aren’t included in this list. If we have duplicates, we’ll try to think of another meal, so that we have at least 20.

I can spend hours reading restaurant reviews trying to find a place to go for dinner. Why? ‘Cause I feel hungry, miss lunch a lot, and don’t like to eat crappy food. (I may find out a lot of things about restaurants.) The down side is restaurants are expensive and it would be easier to just make something, quick, fresh and tasty.
So if you have any ideas how I can be prepared to cook by having things on hand (I do shop every week I just need to buy the right things) and and be able to make something in 1/2 hour or less.

that drives me crazy on a daily basis, it is trying to figure out what to cook for dinner every night!
I’d like to come up with some sort of meal plan, or some sort of system that will help me do this, if for nothing else than to save some of my (and hubby’s!) piece of mind! lol!
