    Only Linux 7 months ago

I have three partitions on my hard drive. The original Windows installation, along with an older version of linux, and the newer version I’m using now. I’ve been clinging to the windows version because I paid for it, but I haven’t booted into windows since the first day I got the laptop 8 months ago. Running out of room!

this is going to be a frustrating experience. 3 years ago

I need to do this for my Thinkpad. It’s so weighed down with old stuff (haven’t reformatted in 1.5 years) . I’m going to start the process today, since it’s going to take a while.

The thing is I bought a huge one first 3 years ago

I was having lots of problems with my hard. It was full of my old files that only god remembers why and how got in there. It was full of my old roommates, boyfriends and friends unorganized music and files. I bought a new hard disk, 200 G bites for almost 120$ and started organizing. It was much easier with the new hard being there cuz I did not need to burn a stack of CDs. It worked.

sometimes it's all you can do... 4 years ago

...in order to get your computer to work again. i’ve lost files in the process from time to time, but sometimes that’s a necessary evil. If it’s broke you have to fix it, and sometimes it’s the only way.

i don’t know how many times my WinMe has gone screwy for no reason—it soesn’t have internet access! reformatting keeps it fresh..and brings back that irritating little tour guy that looks like a janitor.

So fresh and so clean. In addition, I finally installed linux and made a dual boot system. I feel so freakin’ smart.
