Go on a GAP year

Got back last Wednesday from my GAP placement and subsequent travel – it was AWESOME!!!!! Want to head off again but can’t as family commitments here!! Lol.

must organise flights, hotels…everything!

I sent off my deposit and my consent form for under 18s yesterday! When GAP receive that then i’m def going [well subject to criminal record and medical checks]!!! Scarrrry!! I leave about 23rd/24th August!!

GAP have made me an offer :-D i got the Tibetan Placement in north-east India which was the one i really wanted. Providing everything goes to plan then i’m off on August 24th!

I GOT INTO DELOITTE!

i haven’t been this excited since soul in the city!!!!

applications for Deloitte and PWC are pending, if i get either i will be over the moon AND the stars and probably walk around with the biggest grin on my face for a week and a day!

true fact.

if you see me smiling uncontrollably, that’s probably why…

so looks like the rough plan after that is go to S.America (probably Peru) and do community work there for 3 months in an isolated village which should be an awesome experience indeed!

then, hopefully zoom off to Tanzania with my good friend Hazel where we will do some conservation stuff, go on a safari, climb mt.KILL-A-MAN-JARO (!) and then go to Zanzibar (which has just about the coolest name EVER!)

nothing’s set in stone atm, but i have a sneaking suspicion that it’s gonna be totally zyblob!
