Get another haircut

When I got to the place, I didn’t think my hair was long enough to cut again, but they did a good job with it. I’ll post a picture later.

Tamara impressed me with her knowledge of my hair—I’m pretty sure they don’t keep files, so she obviously knows what she’s doing. I think I suit it better this way.

I was hoping to wait until I got home to get another haircut, but it was just too unmanageable. It always strikes me as ironic how shorter hair needs much more maintenance than long! It had been almost two months since my last cut, so it was shaggy in the bangs and sides.

Anyway, I got a haircut today and told the stylist I just wanted a trim, that I would be home in a month and I want to grow my hair out when I get home. And she whacked off a minimum of one inch, in some places, at least two inches, of hair.

Oh well, it will grow back eventually. I just can’t wait to get home to my stylist who listens to me when I ask for a specific cut.

Not sure whether “not worth it” is really appropriate. This haircut was not worth it, but I think/hope the next one will be.

I went back to the same place, but it was a different stylist. Also, if you think back to this thread, you’ll realise when I was conflicted when a man gave me the head treatment, so to speak. Blink.

I have much better luck getting a totally different haircut than getting the same haircut only shorter. I had to cut some more off when I got home, and it’s still not short enough. I can only do so much myself (I’m not touching the back!).

I was thinking of growing it out, but I think I’d like to cut it short again before my vacation.
