i used to drink a lot of pepsi max, but i haven’t drunk soda since new years eve. so now i only have three months to go . i actually don’t feel bad, i don’t feel any different either. i guess it’s just annoying when you go out and your mates take the mick because you always have water or juice sigh

No way 3 years ago

I figure I don’t drink enough to really hurt me in this department, so I am going to pull this. If I were a junkie, yes. Or I might avoid coffee for a year, my real bane. I will not avoid coffee.

Day 6 and I really, really want a soda. 3 years ago

Sigh.

Tried to start on NYE, but caved on 1-05-06 3 years ago

I’ve had one soda since the New Year began, which is amazing for me. I once drank about 37 cans of Mr. Pibb throughout a single night and can drink a 2-liter in one sitting without even realizing it. It’s such a horrible habit, though, so I’ve resolved to drink a lot more water and try to entirely eliminate my craving for Mr. Pibb.

And I do mean craving, because I used to be unable to see it without buying and drinking it.

I properly started this goal on Friday, January 6th, 2006. That’s sort of disappointing, seeing as I had several other days soda-free before the 5th, but I won’t be a cheater. Today is day 4.

Month #4 4 years ago

I’ve been on month #4 without any soda. Water and juices have been my intake.

Day 5 4 years ago

On Day 5 of quitting my 5-year long, daily, 10-cans a day Pepsi habit. Symptoms of withdrawals are weakness, shaky fingers and legs, light-headedness, spells of dizziness, and cravings for chocolate and/or sweets.
