*What I desire desires me as well*
The Law of Attraction, The Teachings of Abraham by Esther and Jerry Hicks, and some other bits and pieces of the law of attraction, and studied some stuff on Steve Pavlina’s website. Today I checked out one book and 2 books on CD by Dr. Wayne Dyer. The one I’m currently listening to is The Secrets of Manifesting Your Destiny. I’m really excited about it!

I’ve read the secret, and i have done this and seen it work, but i want to practice it more and keep my attitude and life full of positivity instead of negativity. 43 things has helped me with accomplishing so much and i’m very thankful for this. I was thinking on the book and movie The Secret, (i own both) and said man i got to keep my positivity flowing, i may have to go over them again. and then i venture on to 43T to blog in and this group popped out at me, actually it said Tarrador wanted to practice the Law of Attraction, and i thought wow… was that like an answer… help in becoming more positive… make it a goal!
So thanks everyone! I can wait to read about your stories and positive thinking methods and hopes and dreams!!!

is acting instead of being acted upon
Of course, we are all practicing the Law of Attraction everyday, whether we know it or not. But my focus and attitude has helped me overcome some real challenges and I am feeling better about where I am and where I am headed. Phil Keoghan’s book “No Opportunity Wasted” is a manifesto for LOA living and has given me a fresh way to look at what I want and what it fulfills in my life.

It’s an everyday thing, the LOA. I was talking to my husband about it the other day, that what we send out is what we get back.
I think it has had a big impact at work. Being more positive and a better listener has really helped me when working with others on projects.

I am going to make a vision board. That would be awesome. I will put it in a place that I can see all the time.

My LOA group had a great meetup yesterday. We all came as we want to be at the end of 2008. Everyone had a mini-bio for the year planned out and we chatted together cocktail party style about all the wonderful things that had already manifested for us this year. Everyone got very excited talking about all the things on their bios, and we began to get even more ideas and energy. I was able to get people really excited about the things I am doing and handed out about 30 business cards (another one of my 43 Things goals). In fact, several of my 43T goals crossed over into this meeting. It was a very good time and I came away with a lot of positive energy and excitement.

Watched the movie again last night and it was totally amazing again. Saw parts I am not sure I saw the first time. I am going to write out my dreams and goals. I am going to try meditation. My husband and I also looked at cars last night and that was really fun just to dream big like that.

A local LOA meet-up group is having a “Come as you will be in 2008” cocktail party/mixer in a couple of weeks. The idea is to come in the persona of who you intend to be this year, and to support that persona with a “script” and props, like business cards, trophies, magazine articles, and the like. I think this a great way to live as though all the goals and good things you intend for the year have already come true. I am really looking forward to it, and am preparing my “script” and props.

I just started reading the book today. It sounds good, but I wonder if it’s actually practical. The book does imply my dad died of cancer because of his own negativity, which is kind of harsh.
