What is important to me, is to have a healthy frame of mind, and a happy life. What is important to me, is the people who have played key roles in my life. I want them to feel as wonderful as they have made me feel.
What is important to me, for the most part, is me. The little things I do really add up.
Here, I’m going to brainstorm what is important to me. Whether it be many of the little things I do to make life just that bit better, or whether it be attitude changes I need to make to be a better person for myself and for others.
The list is in no particular order, really.
- Appreciate everything my boyfriend does for me
- Do more for him
- Taking the time to look good for the day is more important than an extra 20 minutes in bed
- Sewing project that have been lying around for ages are a greater priority than puttsing around online
- The cleaner my room looks, the more I enjoy being in it.
- The more clean laundry I have, the more I have to choose from when getting ready in the morning, and the more fun I can have mixing and matching.
- The earlier I go to bed, the earlier I can wake up.
- Keep my lizard’s tank clean, and spend more time with her. I know she enjoys my company.
- Find a good way to keep my room odor-free. With a snake and a bearded dragon, it stinks… A lot. Febreze is full of chemicals, and I can only burn incense when it’s warm enough out that I can keep my window open more often than not.
- Stay organized. The less I have to scramble to find a certain pen, sewing tool, or anything else, the less stressed I am. The less clutter, the more roaming space I have.
- Stop letting ALL of the little things get to me.
- Reconnect with friends, and stop being such a hermit.
*I’m sure I’ll add more to this list another time, buuut… I must now take some time to get dressed and made up for work.
I want to look great today.
