Yea that’s quite the infamous book eh? Read a beeeeeeeg article about it a while ago, and now I want to read it..
How I did it: I found this book, which turned out to be a bookcrossing book, at the Smithsonian Book Day on the National Mall. I don't have the right title for the festival but I'm not concerned. And then I just read the book. It was easy.

Entertaining, sometimes intoxicating, but, in retrospect, oddly meaningless. It’s apparent that it could be life changing for someone... It just didn’t touch me in any big way. So it goes.
Emma_NA is reading "The Master and Margarita"
A good read and a classic of the genre. Some fantastic descriptive passages and a brilliant final page. Would recommend.
I’v heard alot about this novel, and feel that it could be life changing.
or at the least a damn good read!
undercover_laura is slowly getting back into 43 things...watch out :-)
not the most amazing book in the world, but it was a good read. it def. has meaning and i can see how it has such a cult following over the years. worth a read, Dean is a facinating character although i prefered Sal(natator).
mrwoop wants his new house
except for the last chapter which i thought was a weak ending and didnt provide me with closure but the writing style and the story and the narrative were al quite good and better thean i expected really
Finally finished this fantastic novel yesterday, and to be honest, it blew me away. Jack Kerouac’s flawless, beautiful writing is so deeply inspiring—he makes you want to just stop sitting down watching time go by and go see the world. There’s just so much out there, and he makes you feel like it isn’t right to just sit there and read about it!
I now fully understand how Hunter S. Thompson was inspired by his style of writing—both authors are very similar. You read their books, and you’re impacted by them so much it’s insane. Some people would think that this novel has no point, but it really does. It’s Sal Paradise, living his life to the ultimate fullest, and never missing a moment of it.
I highly recommend this book, it’s extremely life-changing and overall a great read.
This is the best book I read this year. I won’t spoil anything for those who want to read but please go on now and dig this…
as expected: this book is pretty good.. i just how it feels like to be awake when the sun is red in a strange hotel room… the air was stale with overwashed bedlinen…
