fanboy is focusing on what's most important
The nice thing about frisbee golf is that it’s a really cheap hobby – the cost for a round is only $1.50 for 18 holes, here. And a pretty good disc is only about $10.
The grand majority of players only use a “driver” frisbee, which is for distance throws. Some people will also buy a “putter” for more short range shots. However, I don’t want to look like a dork by carrying around a bunch of them, so I only use a driver.
This is definitely an activity anybody can participate in, since it’s not strenuous at all. Really all you’re doing is walking around, so I wouldn’t classify it as exercise.
While not as infuriating as regular golf, it still can suck – it’s a real hassle to chase down your frisbee when you misfire it into the forest… it’s a miracle I didn’t wind up with poison ivy today.
