do something that has never been done before

But how lovely would it be to do something with no predetermined factor at all? Just to look at something which has not yet been judged by man seems very worth it to me.

Of course, I don’t know what it would be that I would do, or how I’d know that it hasn’t been done, but it’s the thought that is still so appealing.

It’s not profound knowledge I seek from it, but rather a defining moment to acknowledge when I feel small from exploring things already discovered once and again, or after I’ve just learned another tidbit of what centuries have come to teach.

We’ve got entire lives to learn whatever we can, and no life is long enough to learn everything. So as far-fetched as it may seem, it’s still a nice passing thought.
