I would like to lose 45 pounds 1 month ago

I would like to lose 45 pounds by the summer of 2009. This past summer all the ladies closest to me in my life or atleast the ones I am supposed to look up to lost tons of weight, my mother, my aunts, my grandma and I just didnt take much interest in it. Until I was browsing over certain websites seeing how “perfect” certain girls look and I realized I do have a low self esteem, If I didnt I wouldnt constantly worry rather or not my boyfriend will always be there. Everyone says I dont need to lose weight but I need more convidence and I think the weight loss and to tone my body would be a great choice to make, Although I need guidenece and help or I will just give up on my ambition, This is why I figured joining a website with people that have the same interests as me would be a great idea.

Quitting my job has helped lighten the load and I am happier which makes me more energetic. Eating healthier and smaller portions and that makes everything all good!

I am back to the gym and starting water aerobics 2x per week.
Progress in the Making… now only 40 to go, down almost one size and toning up quite a bit.



Not too bad 2 months ago

Today I did very well. I had none of the things that I am not allowed to have…although I did have a few cookies, which is like having candy. But no soda, fried food, or fast food! I also did some cardio for about 25 minutes. Not very long, but for someone who does nothing it is a step in the right direction. I weigh more today than yesterday, though, so maybe I will weigh myself weekly…on Mondays. I’m shooting for 162 on Monday. Probably a little steep, but my body is weird.

It is definitely time for me to start working towards this goal. I have never weighed this much before (165 at 5’0) and definitely think I’m doing harm to myself at this point. I get winded walking up a flight of stairs, and I just hardly ever feel well.

I plan on cutting out fast food, fried foods, soda, and candy. I know that I will need a break though. So maybe I can allow myself one of these four things once a week. I also really need to start exercising. Cardio needs to happen since I can’t breathe after climbing a stair case. I am starting right NOW.
