Definitely worth doing. Pamper yourself – cups of tea, box of chocolates, portable dvd player/very good book. Sleep when you want, or just lay in bed and daydream.
How to stay in bed all day
How I did it: Halloween was on a Friday night this year (2008) so my fiance and I went to a party on 7th street and made a night of it. We didn't go to bed until about 7 or 8am the next day. Joshua (my fiance) had to go to work on Saturday at noon so I woke up to say good bye then I went back to sleep and accidentally slept until nearly 7pm! I had other stuff I should have gotten done, but I totally deserved a break and loved every minute of it. Wish I could do that more often: party all night and sleep all day!
Lessons & tips: Just sleep all day. It's not that hard unless you're having trouble sleeping for long periods of time. Try to get our doctor to prescribe some Ambien or Trazadone if you're an insomniac like me. Wearing ear plugs and and eye mask helps me sleep through the day. Oh I wish I could do that again!!
Resources: Ear plugs, Eye masks, Prescribed Ambien and a long night wearing down on me.

The only time this is worth doing is when I’m sick, but I hate being sick, so it sucks. I do like to just chill at the house all day, though, especially when I feel overworked.

This has only happened to me a couple times – typically when I’ve been sick. I hate it. I feel like I’ve lost those days forever.

Had a great time in a cheap and cheerful hotel in Venice, February 2006. But we didn’t stay in bed every day, so there’s also a large number of beautiful 3D pictures of the town on my Flickr.
and it’s been 3 years since the last time, I truely enjoy them! Once when I’m sick, and the best time is when your not alone! ;>
