How to sleep in the desert

How I did it: Camped in Central Australia and slept under the stars, absolutely beautiful. I had never seen a sky so clear before, the constellations kept me entertained until I fell asleep.

I did this in the sinai desert (in between egypt and israel) a few years ago. It can get quite chilly at night even in these warm regions, but it is definitely worth it.

It would be a mighty cool thing to sleep under the stars in the desert with my husband. Maybe one day we will get the chance.
