Yup, we shared a lemon ice cream again, this time in The Tower of London. We love both the tower and the ice cream!

Had a taste of this when my cousin Alex ordered some at Enchanted Forest.
The Ice Cream of the Future! So tasty! Mark and I shared some at Enchanted Forest in NY last summer.
This has to be the best thing I’ve ever tasted! They bring it to your table in a piping hot cast iron pan and when you poor the hot caramel sauce on, it sizzles and smokes! It was so cool! Mark and I had a lot of fun sharing this dish last summer.
I love lemon ice cream. Mark and I had this one last summer at 1,000 Islands (Alexandria Bay), NY. We ate it after a lovely boat cruise.
(I just experienced the duality of nostalgia by “rediscovering” this THING about Ice Cream and the fun-to-read posts herein. I am slightly disappointed in myself for not setting aside more time to think and write about positive things in life like ice cream. My disappointment did not, however, dampen my enthusiasm for reading and writing about yummy treats! This was one of my the very first THINGS I created here, and I am happy to have revisited it…. Having said that….)
I admit….As a teen, I was a big Sherbet fan…. Used to love correcting people who put an “R” near the end of the word, too….. “It’s not SherbeRt, I’d say, it’s SherBIT”....
(anyway)
I still like sherBIT… even if I almost never eat it…. I mean, if you’re gonna go for ice cream, you may as well get ice cream…..
Of all the sherbets, though…. Raspberry is my very favorite…..
Mark and I got a tasty little chocolate chocolate chip ice cream cone off the same truck. Delicious!
Mark and I got one of these of a ice cream truck in Tooting. It was homemade vanilla and delicious! Only 99p :-) but also very smallish!

The day of our wedding Mark, Carl (his best mate), and I found a lovely ice cream parlor serving a variety of gelato. They all looked so good that Mark and I can’t remember which flavours we finally decided on!
