Abolish acne once and for all

I wish I did it sooner. I heard so many horror stories that I waited too long to take the drug and now that I have I have not had a single blemish. I also found out after many years that I have PCOS. 90% of women who have PCOS don’t know it! My doctor even refused to test me for it, and I demanded that she test me after researching online, and ta da…I do! That is a MAJOR cause of cystic acne that many people don’t know about.

That’s when my acne started. I’m 23 now and I’ve tried everything…then went for a few years trying nothing. I am back to seeing a dermatologist now and he has put me on Doxycycline and Retin-A. After a month and a half I see no difference what so ever. I go back at the end of the month so maybe they will try me on something else.

I believe age has finally reduced this to a less relevant issue. Not cured mind you, and certainly not by any change of behavior on my part, but no longer a top 43 for me.

Ok, so I am 33 and have been battling acne most of my life and have tried everything from diet changes to every medication known to man. I did accutane in my early 20’s and that worked for the cystic like acne. All of a sudden, the acne has stared again. I have been hiding out at our cabin since Wednesday, too embarassed to go anywhere. My husband, who is out of town, thinks I am exxagrating, but seriously, the acne I have right now, especally the huge cystic one on the side of my nose is horrible. So, I go to the derm on Thursday and he gives me antibotics and a face cream. Not before he shoots up my face with corisone (I asked him to) to get rid of the cystic one faster. Today is Sunday, and I finally feel like I can leave the house. I have been spending 100’s of dollars on face creams, etc, and all he said I should use is soap and the perscrption he gave me. Anyway, I just want to look clear again and have my hopes in these meds.

and that is not very far away.

Regenerist has worked very well. I am going to use it this month and hopefully it will be gone. Then Ill have to work on scaring. In addition, I am going to increase my water intake. I read that helps. WE will see.

More water. Honestly. I’m a lifetime sufferer of immense proportions who’s tried just about every fix. I slowed down on my caffeine consumption, upped my water intake and my freaking acne went away. And fast.

I wish I had figured this out YEARS ago.

My face isn’t that bad but it can get bad. I’m so self conscious about my face that i don’t like to not wear make-up.

This is from the same person who complained about knee pains while running the 10K. Never thought I’d have these 2 problems at the same time..
