I’m still working on this. My website is always growing and I’m finding more and more people with the same goals. Through the site we’ve found homes for over 300 animals.
How to help animals
How I did it: One day it was after I went to my grandparents house and I was walking to my door and heard a cat meowww and I started caling kitty, kitty and a little cat came out under the dumster and I picked him up and brought him inside. Then started making posters that said found cat and described him then no one responded for a week. then I started to walk around with him and go around to my nieghbors and ask questions and show him then someone came to my door and said she would like to bring the cat home so, I went to the persons house and looked around and said that he would love it and I would miss him alot. And the cat changed my life by teaching me never to give up I felt that the cat was telling me to find him an owner and keep trying............

There is no humane way to kill a whale at sea. The methods used are cruel, outdated and completely contradictory to current international guidelines for the humane slaughter of animals. The intense pain and distress caused by whaling is a fact that can’t be refuted by whaling nations and is the reason most Australians are so strongly opposed to whaling.
So far the WSPA has collected almost 10,000 messages from Australians stating their opposition to whaling on welfare grounds and urging Minister Garrett to be the leading voice on whale welfare.
In the run up to the IWC next month, WSPA is asking Australians to keep sending in their messages. Take action now and Leisel Jones will deliver your messages to the IWC on behalf of all Australians opposed to the cruel practice of whaling.
If you haven’t already done so, lodge your opposition to whaling today to help stop the slaughter of these majestic animals once and for all.

The “Harb Seal Bill” would end this cruel hunt, which is expected to take the lives of 280,000 baby seals this year alone. Seals as young as three weeks old will be clubbed or shot – some even skinned alive.
Please urge Canadian Senators to support this historic bill by adding your signature today. Click here for the Stop The Seal Hunt campaign.
Thank you!

My mum loves bears and hates seeing them caged, bated and hunted, so when I got this email (below) from the WSPA I knew it was the perfect gift for my mum. She will like the small earrings we have her too but she will be glad she has helped fight animal cruelty. Therefore I share with you the WSPA email and hope you consider joining me in fighting against animal cruelty this Mothers Day.

Mother’s Day is a great time to honour the incredible role mothers play in our lives. It’s also the perfect opportunity to acknowledge the mothers of the animal world who share an equally special bond with their own offspring.
So what better way to show Mum how much you care this Mother’s Day than by giving her a WSPA Wild Gift?
Every gift will help WSPA save and protect animals of all ages and from all walks of life, from female bears and their cubs poached for their fur or the tourist trade to orphaned baby orangutans whose mothers have been killed to make way for palm oil plantations.
Costing from $20, a WSPA Wild Gift can help bring medical care, peace, safety and freedom to animals who desperately need help.
Every gift you give this Mother’s Day is helping to create a world where animals matter and animal cruelty ends.

The Tassie Devil Appeal is a group of zoos and wildlife parks from all over Australia who need help urgently to breed Tasmanian Devils to build an ‘insurance’ population to protect against a deadly disease that is wiping them out.
‘The Tassie Devil was placed on the critically endangered list only last year and is facing extinction in the wild in the next 20 years. The dramatic drop in Tassie Devils is due to a rare and easily transferable facial cancer which is spread through biting – a normal behaviour of the devils when meeting, mating or eating. Taronga Zoo is working hard to breed an insurance population to release back into the wild in case the devils become extinct in Tasmania.’ – The Taronga Foundation
You can breed your own devil or create one to represent a company or school. Feeding and breeding your devil will increase its rank and the top devils will get naming rights over real devils born into the insurance breeding program next year. It’s a fun way to support a really important cause.
For more info, to donate, to create your own devil so your friends and family can also be part of a unique fundraising mission, please visit the Tassie Devil Appeal.
Melody Rose (my little devil) is ranked 20th but is yet to make it into the top ten. Maybe your little devil can! :)

I love animals. I want to be a vet. Lots of people say: “OMG! How cute!” when they see a kitten or a puppy. But I know, that some of those cuties go to a place called… The Killing Machine. Yes, you heard that, those tiny, helpless creatures get killed. By cruel humans of course. But what do people do with those poor innocent animals? Well they “use” them for a “reason”. Like: meat, fur, and product testing. But not all humans are cruel and heartless, more and more people become vegetarian and vegan. More and more people stop wearing fur and skin. Some people even stop buying “Procter & Gamble” products. So, if you are thinking about the animals future, that means your’e thinking about your future.

Another birthday for someone I love is coming up and I always like to include a gift from an animal related charity with every gift I give, even if it’s just the wrapping paper.
This time it’s to a cat lover and I’ve payed for them to be a Guardian Angel for a year via the Animal Welfare League for an elderly cat that can’t be re-homed so is living at the shelter and is named “Madam”. It’s not the only thing I will give, but I know they will love it.
Giving stuff these days, unless you know exactly what they want, well it seems it is just a waste of money. I’d rather give a gift that is meaningful than something that is going to be pushed to the back of a cupboard and in this case it also helps the shelter look after the animals. That’s very important to me, and to the person I’m giving the gift to.
