I’ve managed to do another 20 minutes again today. After dancing i notice my hunger disipates, i feel stronger, healthier, calm and collected. What a great way to start the day being grateful for your body and health. I also enjoy my bath better when i’ve done something to deserve it.

Each day i’m going to try and make entries on the key things in my life that i’m focusing on right now. Firstly is my health as i’ve been suffering with stress now for the last month and it’s become prominent as my doctor has told me i have high blood pressure. I can’t remember exactly what she said but something along the lines of it’s 140/ something and it should be 120/something. I didn’t pay much attention, but of course it’s a wake up call to put my health first. I’m quite pleased with my progress on this today.

I’ve danced for another 20 minutes today. I’m really happy i managed to do this. I feel that dancing in the morning as part of a routine is the best way to wake up my system and i find it even gets rid of hunger as i realise that deep breathing oxygen was the need i was trying to fulfill.

20 Minutes of Yoga Dance Nov 19, 06:05AM PST 12 months ago

I’ve just finished 20 minutes of yoga dance and i feel absolutely liberated. It’s such a beautiful feeling of energy and tranquility that washes over every cell of my body as i dance. My goal is to spend 20 minutes daily atleast dancing as although it’s not essential it’s important to me as a priority now as my health is one of my highest values and nurturing myself. I’ve neglected to take care of myself lately and i think that it’s going to be difficult for me to produce amazing results in other parts of my life unless my energy levels are high and i’m in good health.So today i’m thrilled i’ve managed to balance my day with some exercise.

This goal is almost more of a sign of a larger more subcounscious goal. I want to take life lightly and enjoy every day. And while I do more often, than most others and more often than I used to I think I wll keep this goal on my ‘to-be-done’ list a little longer until I know I take life lightly every day. In a way my aunt in my hero in this respect; for this goal I would consider her my mentor and I should try to remember she has lots to teach me yet.

I do this almost every day. I come home from school all stressed out especially since I have only two hours before work but I just blare the music and dance it out. And I feel so much better for it.
