Visit Chicago

I was in Chi-town because I was in a drum and brass corps and that was a stop for one of our shows. I want to be there for a freakin month and find every cool nook and cranny. I could ask my best friend, he’s born and raised there, about going for a trip…

My best friend just moved there so now we’re a bajillion miles away from each other. That needs to be remedied, at least temporarily.

Ashley and mines trip to Chicago was great. We ran out of time to get all the things done that we wanted to do, but that just means we’ll have to visit again soon!! We stayed at an great hotel, and visited a lot of amazing places. Also, the Tigers beat the White Sox while we were in the stands watching! It was our first trip together out of state, and it was a great experience, Thanks Chicago!

my favorite city next to New York (actually i love the east coast period). Chicago is so amazing i had to the chance to go visit for 2 weeks last year. I cant wait to go back.

I’ve been told by many a good source how much I would love this city. It seems to be right up my alley…artsy, full of music, architecture, life. I want to check out the Chicago Diner, the School of the Art Institute, Art Institute, Millennium Park, etc. This will happen, hopefully in the not too distant future.

Less than a week to go before Ashley and I are on our way to Chicago!! Tickets are purchased and Hotel is locked down, just planning things to do now….

After I moved away from Chicago, it took me over a half a year to get back even though I only lived a couple hundred miles away, but I finally did it! In February and it was freezing, but still a great place. It makes me nostalgic just to think about it. I think I’m going to go again before the end of the summer, too.

My girlfriend and I are in the process of planning a trip in early August! We’re going to kick back, take it easy and just ride the train into town…we are going to catch a Sox vs. Tigers game while we’re there! Can’t wait to spend time with her in the Windy City….

I LOVED CHICAGO! I have always wanted to go to chicago and i got to go up there with my job, and fell in love with the city!

I actually went there for a boy. He ended up ignoring me and breaking his promises on showing me the city.

So after sitting on the couch looking out at the same stop sign everyone would cross without stopping, I said,”fuck this!” and took myself out. I went to the city, learned how to use the L train. Visited museums, stores, and had lunch on my own, learned about the city and the people there and took pictures and visited lake Michigan. I even met a few cute guys too. I defiantly would do it again, but not because I’d go to see a douche bag. I’d do it for the adventure.

My only regret is that I didn’t get out there and do it sooner.
