For some reason this is especially difficult this semester, and I’m falling behind quite alarmingly. :S It’s only 7 more weeks then I’m done with uni for the rest of my life (at least at the undergraduate level), so I need to buck up!
How to keep up with my coursework
How I did it: Well I have finished this years course and I don't know if I will be doing another one next year as of yet because I am having trouble with the institution I am studying with but hopefully that will be sorted out soon.
It was hard keeping up at times, I was chasing the course at times trying to keep up and it was rare for me to be ahead or even at the right point in the course at the right time but when I was up to date with it all it was a great help and I didn't feel as rushed.
Lessons & tips: Try and set aside some time each day, even if it's just ten minutes because doing 10 minutes of course work a day is better than no course work.
Always leave your course books in view so even if you don't plan on studying they are always in view and they might push you into doing some coursework.
Resources: Course books, other students, cut off dates

....right now and need to get as much done in the next three days as I can because I want to start the assignment next week some time and have it done in 5 days or so. Then I can move onto the next lot of coursework. I will be ahead if I manage that and that’s what I want so I need to pick up my coursebooks as often as I can even if it’s only for ten minutes each time because ten minutes is better than nothing.

...done today but not enough. I should have it done by Saturday but there is at least 150 pages of reading to do. Well there is more but I am skipping some of the readings out and it’s also looking like I will have to miss the films out to if I have any chance of getting this coursework done in time.
The pages are really big and I am trying to be more productive with doing it but it’s boring me to be honest. I just need a little more motivation and I am sure that I will get there in the end.

...I have started to do some study. I am over three weeks behind and am trying to rush through around 4 weeks work in the next 6 days which will then give me a week to do my assignment thus giving me time to go back over some coursework and hopefully allowing me to do a good assignment.

...I have so much to do courswork wise and I’m not looking forward to it but I must do it and get it all out of the way so I can then start my assignment.
I am around three weeks behind at the moment and of course that is really bad so I am going to have to rush through all the material which may mean leaving bits out here and there but if I don’t do that then I simply won’t get through the course material in time to start the assignment and I don’t want to ask for an extension because my tutor may only let me have one during the duration of this course so I don’t want to use it unless I need it and I am hoping I won’t need it this time.

I am a week behind at the moment which isn’t good!! Basically while you work on your assignment you are meant to be carrying on with the next block of coursework but I didn’t realise this at the time and as of yesterday I am a week behind and I’m meant to do 15-20 hours per week to keep up. So right now I am about 20 hours behind and am hoping to get 2-3 hours done later which I guess isn’t much but I have to go out for a few hours and get some food shopping in. I hope to do 3-5 daily this week which again isn’t a lot but on top of working and everything else it will have to be enough and next Sunday I will do about 4 hours if not more, all depending on what’s going on.
It is so hard keeping up but I think it is all about getting into some kind of routine. I am hoping to get about two weeks ahead at some point if that is at all possible.

...because I’ve barely done any this week. I was meant to study all day yesterday and all day today but yesterday I did around 3 hours including watching a film and today I worked instead although I was highly distracted and got next to nothing done.
I won’t get the chance to study tomorrow but I plan on doing around three hours on Sunday.
I need to have all this months course work done by the end of Thursday so I will hopefully get that sorted. I know I have to watch Titanic too so I guess I will be watching that one night. There is tons of reading to get through too so I will be studying at least 3 hours a day (up to 5 hours) and working also as I have a lot of work on next week and a lot of it needs to be done at the beginning of the week as well as some on Sunday so it’s going to be a busy week for me.
Ive just signed up to do the M150 course and was thinking about the T175 course to start in oct but im not sure if it will be too much work??? can anyone advise who has either done or currently the course as to whether it is a good idea to do both at the same time….or just do one
any help is greatfully Appreciated

I am too far behind…not being well hasn’t helped one bit.
I did an all nighter to get my ECA finished but it probably wasn’t my best work for several reasons.
I need to get through all my religon course work by tomorrow so I can concentrate on going through all the course material and writing notes for the assignment and then Saturday I need to start the assignment. – there is tons of course work so I don’t know if I will manage to get it all done by the end of today but I will try. I did want it done by this morning but there was no chance of that with me being ill.
Then when that assignment is submitted i have one day to go through the rest of my course work for my technology course work (about 80 pages) and then one day to do the assignment in.
I just remembered that tomorrow I have a CMA due (computer marked assignment) which is a pain but it needs to be done too. It’s multi choice and it doesn’t count too much towards my mark so I won’t work too long on it.

I have been ill for three weeks and then I was well for about a week and then I hurt my arm and then the last couple of days I’ve not felt too well so I am very behind in all of my courses!!
The next two weeks are going to be very busy!!
This week I need to:
Work on my ECA (end of course assessment) for my Business Studies course (B120). It is due on the 17th April, a week tomorrow (Tuesday) and I haven’t even started it!! I haven’t even done any business studies in about a month or even longer and a ECA involves me going over the 6 months of course work and answering questions.
I don’t even know how many questions there are as I haven’t looked at my ECA booklet so I will look now and put it on here how many –
Looking at it quickly I am thinking ‘oh no’ it looks very complicated and I am now wishing I hadn’t got ill now as this is tough looking. By the looks of it there are three questions.
Question one has three parts to it and it worth a total of 30 points.
Question two has two options of what you answer. The first option has three questions and is worth 35 marks. The second option has three questions and again is worth 35 points. – I think I am going to go with the second option as that’s about accounting and when I did that I got my highest score of the course. Although I might change my mind.
Question three has two questions with it and the second one looks very hard!! OMG!! Total marks are 35 points for this one in total with the most points for the most difficult question.
Also this week I have to do about 130 pages of course work and exercises for my Technology course (T175). That will take a lot of time but hopefully I can do it over a course of three days because I need to get that out of the way as soon as possible.
To top off all that in the course of the next 6 days I have do finish block 2 of my Religion course (AA307). This is going to take most of my time up because it is the highest level course, more points and the most difficult thing I have ever done. There is hundreds upon hundreds of pages to read, exercises to do and CDs to listen too.
I am dreading the workload, the past three weeks have been bitty with my course work as i haven’t been able to spend much time on it with being ill etc and what I have done I can’t remember as much as I would like and I don’t have time to go over it all again.
So that is going to be the tough part along with my ECA which I need to get 40/100% in which will be tough as i didn’t enjoy the course but the want to pass it is high so with some luck I should be able to pass it which would be amazing. I will be happy when I have got the ECA out of the way and then my AA307 course work.
NEXT WEEK
I will be busy next week too!!
I have to go through my course work, course books ect for my religion course and spend 3-4 days ( I had longer last time) on writing notes for my assignment. I need longer in reality but don’t have the luxury of extra time this time so it means longer study days but it will be worth it in the end.
The beginning of the week, well Monday, will see me putting the finishing touches to my ECA which needs to be submitted before lunch time on Tuesday.
I will also be working on my fourth (and final) assignment for my technology course next week. That looks hard but they do get harder as the course progresses.
Also I have a CMA (computer marked assignment) to complete by the 19th April for my technology course. I hope to work on it Tuesday/Wednesday next week and then submit it.
0nce the Business Studies ECA is finished that is the end of that course!! It will free up more time for my other courses which I will be glad of.
