Instead of using Facebook, hang out with people!! I have spent so many nights locked up in my office room on the computer, convinced I was too “busy” with homework to study, when I just ended up going on Facebook instead. So why not spend time with friends, have fun, and then set aside time for work after you’ve relaxed a bit. Works for me!

It is seriously a waste of time and is not getting me anywhere in life.

i need to do this. it does more harm than good.
this is not how i want to live my life
analyzing other people’s lives
i want to live my own
and not fret over other people’s relations
not worry about who is hanging with who
i don’t want to be hurt by seeing whos life i’m not a part of
i feel like its living through other people to spend so much time looking at other people’s lives
i’m just so done. what’s meant to be in your life is what is meant to be.
who is your friend. you will know. you won’t know through facebook
i’m so tired of feeling betrayed. so tired of letting myself get hurt.
done with facebook for a long time. long long time.

Unless I am sleeping, it seems like I am checking facebook all day everyday! Instead of working, instead of doing assignments for uni, instead of looking up better things, its Facebook Facebook Facebook. Checking to see if anyone has new photos, tagging photos and then deciding its too gross. And its the biggest no no at work. Could so lose my new job over it :-(
Self discipline….I will only check Facebook once a day, and that is after work and uni stuff is done. From now on. Its so May 2007.
And like someone else said on here, 43 things could well be the new vice for the masses! At least it is more constructive, like keeping a journal in a sense. One day you can tally up all the stuff you wrote on here and make it into a novel! Now that’s more constructive than snooping on your friends and friends of friends that have open facebook profiles!
NO MORE FACEBOOKING 24/7.

I haven’t really reached my goal yet but I’m more aware of when I’m just doing it because I’m bored…and then stop :) I’ll keep going until I get there!

of all the hours I’ve spent in front of Facebook it really makes me ask WHY?! I use it to procrastinate so I don’t have to face things that need facing, I use it because I’m bored, I use it because I talk to people that I see nearly everyday anyway…!! I’ve started reading a lot more recently and it’s made me realise how much more I enjoy doing that than a mindless tapping away at keys and finding out what disney princess/colour/famous singer I am. If I really think about it, I don’t even needto use it. I mean sure, it comes in useful at just leaving someone a message every now and again to say I care or ‘hello’ if I haven’t seen them in a few months, but that hardly accounts for the vast amounts of time I spend in front of the computer!
My new aim is to go on FB once a week for 30 mins. Max.

So my brother deleted Leechblock one day and since then I’ve been too lazy to re-install it (although it’s not hard!) Instead I got rid of all email notifications because I found that every time I received one I HAD to check my Facebook. So that has definitely been helping! :)

I have no problem admitting that I spend too much time on facebook. At my summer job I have my own desk and computer, and virtually no work related tasks all day. So what do I to? Get on facebook. Needs to stop, asap.
